Work in May-July 2023

Exploration work

Four field trips were carried out and assays have been received for two of them. In a new area, a system containing gold (up to 0.35 grams per ton) was found. Also, two sites within the area had highly anomalous levels of lithium in weathered rocks. This discovery will be followed up because it is exceptional.

Access Agreements

One new access agreemnt was reached with a land owner. Compensation has been paid and the rights of the landowner have been protected according to the agreements.

Mineralogy and assays

A total of 270 bags of rock samples were taken to Orange NSW where geologist, Max Rangott  examined them. The samples were also taken to ALS for metal assays. Six specimens were sent to Armidale for microscopic petrological analysis. The results are very encouraging for orogenic gold, however the lithium discovery is not understood yet.

Preparation for exploration for orogenic gold and critical metals

Meetings with a few landownera did occur and one new agreement was reached. We haven't started prospecting on the new ground yet. The geology is prosective for critical minerals such as rare metals and rare earths - we will start exploring the area in November 2023.

Metallurgy on mafic-ultramafic rocks

We did carry out tests on some pulps (metallurgical samples) from massive dark outcrops which have anomalous levels of vanadium, scandium, cobalt, titanium, palladium, nickel and copper. The tests used magnetics but were unsuccessful. So we need to try again with other methods (gravity, etc).

Communication

This website was updated after a few months to give progress of exploration.

Community Meeting

Our plan for a Community Meeting In August 2023 fell through, so we will try again in 2024 instead.
