This page gives some instructions on how to view maps of the areas of exploration.
To get a good view of your property in relation to the exploration areas, it is best to use Minview (the NSW Government's website): minview.geoscience.nsw.gov.au
Start by using the minview address (above) then log on. You can use the arrow pointer as well as +/- to zoom and move to the view that you desire. You can go to the right side of the screen and hover the pointer over "Switch base layer" and the menu provides a choice of three types of base maps (eg satellite).
Next, you can use the left side of the screen to select the layers that you want to see on the screen. For example, select "Add Layer" and then select "Exploration and Mining Titles" then selct from thelist to add any of these layers onto the map.
It is then possible to view your Lots and DP by the following method. Select from the left hand side Administrative Boundaries and then select Lots.
By moving the cursorand the +/- zoom function, you should find your property and see whether your property is included within the maps of the exploration. If you want, you can also select “Reserves, Parks and Forests” or any other layers from the menu on the left side to show these as well.
