Progress in October to December, 2019

1. Communication

Telephone calls, emails, meetings and commissioned reports

Applications and Correspondence

Applied for a new Exploration Licence (ELA5878) which covers the area previously granted to Wally Saul (see page - ELA5878)

Made progress by continuing to work with stakeholders, Departments and geologists

Meetings with

  • Geologists - discussions held with several experienced geologists
  • Preparation of requests to meet with Local Aboriginal Land Councils (Purfleet/Taree, Bunyah, Birpai, Forster, Nungaroo)
  • Met with several landowners
  • Contacted Government departments
  • Attended conferences and seminars on gold exploration

Information

Dr Ryan Manton, of Lithos Consulting, prepared an independent report on the geology of the areas covered by the six Exploration Licences.  His interpretation of existing data provided two prime targets for exploration and his report gave an updated interpretation of the geology of the ancient arc region of the southern tip of the New England Orogoen. An explanation of listwanite-type gold lodes (located at the association of serpentite and country rock) was detailed in the report. This work provides a baseline for future exploration. Dr Chris Torrey also provided expert advice on the mineralogy of the areas.

2. Field work

Prospecting - waiting for access agreements

Access agreements

Still trying to finalise over 100 access agreements

Sampling

Once access agreements are made, then start collecting soil and rocks

Analysis of samples

Methods for sample collection and analysis have been prepared with the help of Max Rangott (MRE of Orange) that meet JORC requirements (ie credible industry standards).

Progress will be updated every two months
