Objectives for Jan-March 2023

Exploration

No field trips in the period, but two visits to Orange to work on samples with geologist at RME

Access Agreements

We submitted a request to Forestry Corp for access to explore at Doyles Creek SF. Compensation and rights of the landowner are protected according to the agreements.

Mineralogy and assays

In February a batch of 102 samples were taken to Orange NSW where geologist, Max Rangott examined them and sent a selection for metal assays by ALS. Another trip to Orange was carried out in March. Also in April, samples were shown to a leading geologist who suggested the rocks were probably indicative of orogenic gold.

Preparation for intensive study of gold occurrence

In February a meeting was held with Max Rangott of RME to discuss our discovery of a gold prospect which we have called Glen Bruce.  As a result, he suggested a soil survey to explore the area in order to find the extent of gold (plus zinc, copper and other metals). This apporach was also confirmed by another leading geologist in April. Samples of rock should also be collected in order to confirm that the system is an orogenic gold discovery.

Annual Reports

In February to April we wrote the annual reports for our six exploration licences: EL8827, EL8828, EL8829, EL8837, EL8838, and EL8839. The reports have been submitted for assessment to the NSW Department of Mining Exploration and Geoscience.
