Exploration Licence Applications

In 2017 Nowendoc Minerals made applications to the NSW Department of Planning and Environment for mineral Exploration Licences Applications ELA5539 and ELA5554. In February 2019, ELA5554 has been granted as EL8827, EL8828 and EL8829. In April 2019, ELA5539 was granted as EL8837, EL8838 and EL8839. Stakeholders and interested parties can view the maps on the NSW Government's website called Minview (instructions on the "Maps" page of our website):

The application process

The Department of Planning and Environment has a standard procedure which will be followed in order to meet the requirements of the Department. These conditions are given on the Department's website, and can be accessed by going to:

Work prior to obtaining the Exploration Licences

In 2017 Nowendoc Minerals advertised the details of ELA 5539 and ELA 5554 in local and state-wide newspapers, and the applications have been examined by the Department. Community consultation has begun. Topics include access agreements, environment, culture and working with stakeholders, who include landowners and indigenous peoples.
