Applying to drill

We have prepared an application to drill, and we submitted it to the NSW Resource Regulator. The application is for an APO (Assessable Prospecting Operation).

Early in 2026, after 5 years or prospecting one area, we found strong evidence of a triple point of contact between pelite, serpentinite, and rodingite. We believe these 3 very different types of rocks provided the fractures or plumbing for orogenic gold to rise upwards from the deep crust. Also, the contacts provided the conditions for gold to drop out of solution.

The photograph shows the rocks where hot fluids (hydrothermic fluids of quartz) carried gold, silver and antimony. The metals were in a sulphide fluid which came from a depth of 5 to 15 km. The metals dropped out of solution when they came in contact with iron in serpentinite. The surface rocks have been eroded over some 300 million years, leaving the tops of the mineralised veins exposed at the surface.
